One Thumb Rules them All

I still remember Nick Vujicic who's born with only a "chicken wing" as he himself said...who does not have limps living greater then then us who what GOD has given us....hands and legs...

Recently I have a friend who posted on www.facebook.com on Mike Phillips who is born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA)...does all his things using just his thumb....

"One Thumb Rules them All" it became a very catchy phase for me...

No doubt he does have great parents who brings him around as he is unable to move....bring tears to my eyes how people with such abilities...

Mike Phillips, a gamer and freelance technology writer born with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), explores the frontiers of accessibility, playing games such as World of Warcraft and Unreal Tournament 2004 with just his thumb, a proximity switch, a switch interface. Mike has very little capability to move aside from his thumb which is what he relies on to navigate through virtual worlds battling with dragons and soldiers. While he has restricted speech he has no such problem while on the web as he IM’s up to four people at a time, writes games reviews, is a digital artist and is writing his first novel. The video shows Mike showcasing all this and his assistive technologies at a conference.

Mike Phillips is so fast that he can chat with so many people at the same time...can you imagine playing WOW and Unreal tournament with only a thumb??!!! He is living without obstacles...So what's so bad in our lives when we are so blessed already??? =)
