Been having the cold sore problem for days...and need to smile or laugh "demurely" cos if I laugh like a wanton, you know my lips will crack!! LOL....Come to think of it the stupid medicine is so expansive! It used to be like less then 20 dollars for a small tube...now the price went up to like $20 sigh....living standard getting higher and higher...Just hope that our salary will go higher LOL...
Been reading the news paper to look out for news on Andy Lau...seems that all the "gossipy" papers has a share of his love life...CH says that he is a jerk...so old already why still needs to hide about his relationship? You keeps seeing things like "Hong Kong's Heavenly King star Andy Lau has long denied being in a relationship with former Malaysian beauty queen Ms. Carol Zhu" Actually, being a fan of Andy, I would think it should be time he admits that he's in a relationship and show people his love ones! I will be very happy for him actually...ya lor so old already should have a partner already right? I wonder how his children will feel if they have to hide and miss their father (assuming that the gossips are true that Andy actually has 2 kids now...nice!) Saw the paper saying that Andy just stare at the reporters when he was with Ms Zhu after the funeral of Ms Zhu's father, I think serve the reporter right for being such an ass to chase after them like that...Ms Zhu is still grieving over her father's death...they should leave them alone...I am just so curious how Ms Zhu looks like...

WOW she is simply amazing this is her 300th bento idea!!! An ark bento full of animal onigiris! Imagine she wanted to make a little zoo of animals, but instead she had made two of each. She call it the Noah’s Bento, the upper deck!
Wonderful work!! WOW she spent a long time making them!!! I wonder what equipment she made used of for the making of them...If she had the Animal Kingdom sushi making mould, I guess it will be easier for her...

Foxie loves Banana
I never know that dogs can take fruits...or rather banana....hee....
Terrible's last day...
Its Terrible's last day today...so sad....He bought us very nice donut yday...we went to makan bread...ya bread can you imagine??!!! Hahaha sian...dun like bread the most....but gotta say that subway's bread is really nice...since I didn't know how to choose my own bread...I followed what ever Hx ordered, cold cut trio, hhhmmmm...great choice...everytime I order myself, the bread will turn out funny...
After that we split for OTOT (own time own target...) I went and bought myself a new coin pouch from mphosis...CH was laughing at me on the bus back to office since I have set a mission to be more thrifty...Then we started talking about the Chinese Customery Wedding...At first CH suggested that we get a baby chicken to take over for the wedding if Da didn't turn up...cannot la bad omen...then she suggested get a cow instead...if Da didn't turn up, don't need transport home...can ride on the cow back...ha ha....
So bored, especially after having lunch and CH keeps playing classical music on her PC...really putting me to sleep...hee...She's been listening to them since morning...I keep telling her that it does not seem like her to listen to classical music...if Hx listen it will seem more like it....LOL...
I complained until she went and played other songs and then later off it instead...yawn....feels like sleeping so much....
CH's telling us about how busy SS is...I can not imagine hee...we will be asking SS for advise on "how to raise kids" in future...

Wedding - Hand flowers for sisters
Made this for SS wedding...for all her beautiful sisters...using fake roses and also some other smaller fake flowers...
I started to make these flowers for Wendy's wedding...
I made use of the metal from the flowers to wrap around the wrist...actually find the idea pretty smart =P hee...The above picture is modeled by my ex-tenant...aren't her hand pretty with the flowers?? =)

Got emails from Da to his bosses regarding his intend to pursue his dreams. He had told his current lady boss and his last day of work will be 18 Sep 2009. OMG!!! That will be big change in our life....some more we are moving to my dad's place (another big change)
Been helping him with the application for the past few days and asking him to get recommendation letters from his ex boss, Grace and team lead Kenneth...problem is Grace is in China and I wonder when she can send the recommendation letter over...I guess we might need to carrier it over.
His boss in Israel is on leave till 25 Aug, LOL worst timing...that's the date of the deadline to send in the application...
He will still have to take up a 3 hour exam to be eligible for the course...topics include programming methodology (ok this one he ok), OS handling of cache and memory(OMG who ever cares about that?? PC slow we just format lor), A level math?????!!!! hmmm...I guess programming is all about math...Guess he will be busy preparing for the exam after the application is being handed in...

Sunday... I woke up late and missed going to church AH!!!!! How can I snooze the stupid alarm clock???? OMG....
Melon sms and said that SS is going to hospital and hence I will have to help out with the presentation on Monday...damn he actually laughed at me when I told him I missed church... =P
Da had been bugging me regarding going to bishan park to cycle...Ok...Gotta get some things done first before going there...Since he decided to quit work and start schooling there are a few things that he needs to do before we can go out and enjoy...
I called up WeeWee and asked how SS is and he is so excited =) of cos he has to be excited!! Our dear SS is having a baby!!!! He keeps tell me how many cm and how much is being dilated...hhhmmmm....sounds scary...I think he is making me very excited too!!!! LOL....I tried to calm him down by telling him SS is very healthy, shouldn't take too long...We both agree that she will give birth around 5pm at this rate...even though the doctor has estimated that the delivery time is around 8pm...
OMG 4pm and we are still at home...I thought we were suppose to go out earlier then that?? About 430pm we reached the warehouse for book sale...
After buying books, we quickly head for bishan park....We were walking towards the bicycle shop when I spotted the "spider web" playground...I asked Da to go climb up the top he say that he might be stuck in one of the holes ha ha ha....too fat...so I decided to try myself even though I am so scared of height...I managed to climb to the 2nd highest area and started shivering out of fear...my goodness...the whole structure look so short before I climb up....now I am at the 2nd highest section and I am so scared...
So I decided to sit down and rest on top before I head for ground...to calm myself down I lookjed at my HP and found that its about 645 pm already....still no call from WeeWee....hhhhmmmm..."Still no phone call from him, I think he fainted" I told Da....LOL....WeeWee is "allergic" to blood =)
Suddenly the phone started ringing...Ah!!! Good news!! it's WeeWee!!! "She delivered! Baby is 3.3 Kg!!" Wa so big!!! SS is so small and she can give birth to such a big baby!! Forgetting that I am up in the scary area I quickly climb down and started calling Melon, Hx and CH...
Anyway Da got upset that I keep using the phone and make me keep my HP...We started for the bicycle shop...When we reached it was quite late and the owner told us that their shop is closed....fainted...walked all the way to the bicycle shop and its closed!!?? I guess we will have to change the bicycle trip to another day...
We continued walking home from Bishan park and I realise its actually a very comfortable walk....we passed the places we used to "pat tor"...some where near where his parent's place is...He was quite amazed that I still remember the places given the fact that I am actually a huge route idiot LOL...

Back to work...
Fianlly back to work...Was very afraid to go to work today actually...called my boss in the morning after seeing his sms..."sorry nd to check with u. Hows yr hubby n yrself?" to check if I can go to work...I was very worried...cos the day before national day my cousin came to my house to get a pair of NDP ticket from me as my hubby was "certified" H1N1, I decided that its best that I stay home and not go out at all...
As planned I should have placed the ticket out side the house and for her to just take it from my shoe rack and leave...but things did not go as I planned she came before I can do that...and she was calling for me outside my house...out of panic...my hubby rushed out of the room and passed her the ticket which was hidden under the pillow on the couch next to the window...My aunty heard about it...called me and scolded me upside down for allowing my husband to pass the ticket to my cousin even though I was home...sigh...he only pass the ticket to her!!!!!??? OMG....is it such a big sin? Too bad what is done is done...Just hope that my dear cousin don't get the common flu from people outside...especially from pple that went to watch the NDP...
Yday, Da got an SMS from GD asking him if he is ok...LOL...I did not deliberately check his sms....just happened to see when I help him SMS his boss...sigh...What CH say is very right...this is getting a bit too strange...I actually did not realise it till someone pointed it out to me..."Precisely, you realise it when we pointed it out to you, if your friend does the small talk around your husband and bitch about you, he will also be influence right?"

H1N1 Positive
The doctor called Da and informed him that he is H1N1 positive...I went home immediately after he told me...I called up the doctor and asked if I need to stay home to quaretine...He told me its alright and I just need to visit him if I have any fever/cough/flu....sigh...My nose feeling very itchy since Da told me he have H1N1...LOL...I wonder if its all in the mind...
Called up my boss and informed him that Da is H1N1 positive...and also all the people whom might be affected by it...I called up Hx to check who else I have met for the past week...guess that the whole office might be in panic since hearing my bad news...Hx was worried to touch my organiser even...But I have been working in the office since tuesday...eating and drinking with everyone...so if they were to get the virus they would have been affected by now...I understand they are worried for their love ones especially...
My phone kept ringing all day...got call from SM that I have to work from home tomorrow...later in the evening he sent an sms "Pse Christy to telecommute from home for this week"...
FC gave a very warming call before I could call him to warn him...He asked me to get me to monitor Da if he is going to take the tamiflu medicine...cos accordingly there were sucidal cases after taking the medicine...In fact there were lots of side effect on taking the medicine...one of it includes psychiatric; "an increased risk of self-injury and confusion"...scary...Good thing Da did not get the medicine for the treatment...He has been staying home and sleeping whole day for the past 4 days...I could not get XN so I had to send him an sms to inform him...
I have got 2 tics for NDP again....sigh...can't go again this time...what an interesting fate...Got it last year and had fever...this year had to stay home cos of H1N1...

I have been searching high and low for the original website of "Yukinko Mama" and finally found her website!!! Sadly its written in Japanese...She has such a cute and sweet daughter!!

Bento #14 - Peeping bear & Rabbit
Simple Sandwich Bento

Look at the bear!! It's holding a nicely fashioned balloon and peeping out from the sandwich!!
The peeping rabbit is being fashioned the same way...simply irresistible...how can you fault such a cute meal?
I really like what what is posted at Shopping Mum...So refreshing and great ideas!!! They have so many tools to make their bentos and are all so cute!!!

Facebook - FarmVille Cheat
I have been very interested in facebook, playing facebook games...find them especially cute and interesting...
Recently I got hooked with playing FarmVille, previously I was into FarmTown and find it very fun...I found out that FarmVille was cuter then FarmTown so I went and tried it out...
Recently I found a way to farm easily for FarmVille, all your actions e.g plow, harvest are instant!
You can "trap" your farmer (your own char) within the starting point....the starting point meaning when you visit other player's farm and come back to your farm your will see your char in the center of the farm....
Steps:
1.) Go to your friend's farm
2.) return to your own farm
3.) Place animals e.g goat, sheep around your char (as shown in print screen above)
4.) Reload your browser
After you have completed the above mentioned, it makes your farming in FarmVille easier =) Save time and also you avoid lots of problem like loading and connection error with the server!!!

You think your life sucks?
For the past week my life really sucks...this kept flashing in my mind...First of all I have been thinking that my house is the safest place in the world and then some one stole my bag that I bought from Japan...lost so much $$ and then I quarrel with Da and nearly want to move out of the house without him...One of the bad news that I have gotten...Mr Lim says that he is going to retire...sigh...last Friday is his last day at work...sigh...
When ever I think about how bad my life is...I remembered what I scolded pat about whenever he complains that he has a sucky life...He will always say...I don't have girlfriend what a bad life I have..."What!! You have great health...you have legs and hands and can walk around without assistance...you have both your parents and also you have a house to stay in without worry"
Da was showing me something about this guy without limbs...his name is Nick Vujicic...An amazing person...You can not imagine...his journey from a man with no limbs to a man with no limits...
I cried so much when I saw this!!! Really amazing person!! So how can you say that your life is sucky?!???!!

Kyaraben: Japanese Character Lunch Boxes
What is Kyaraben?
In the culinary arts, they say that presentation is as important as preparation.
In Japan, it’s all about presentation when making character lunches. It is called "Kyaraben", or "Charaben", and goes beyond simply making the meal look appetizing.
Most Kyaraben are made by mothers, who want to make their children’s lunches more appealing by arranging the contents of the Bento (lunch box) into their favorite cartoon characters or super heroes.
Kyaraben are also designed for family picnics and outings, and may use a theme such as a train ride or automobile trip to determine the "picture."
The history of bento in Japan goes back some 900 years although the first boxes made for bento were the wooden lacquered boxes made during the late 16th century.
Bento box lunches have been popular ever since, and there are thousands sold daily at train stations and aboard trains, but they aren’t nearly as artistic as Kyaraben.
There are several contests for Kyaraben artists and their entries are quite imaginative and most importantly, edible.
There is the Sanrio Kyaraben Contest and the Yokahama Kyaraben Contest, both won by the same person. Unfortunately for me, the winner’s blog is in Japanese and I can’t be sure I translated her name correctly…I come up with Miho Chindonya.
Of course, if I were talented enough to create one of these masterpieces, I’d probably smack the hand holding the hashi, (chopsticks) that was trying to steal a taste!

Bento #12 - Finding Nemo
Hello Kitty Love Hotel
When I was planning for my next trip to Japan, I stumble upon a Hello Kitty Love Hotel...
There are 30,000 to 40,000 love hotels in Japan that are frequented by young unmarried couples who live with their families, married couples who may live in very tight quarters with family, couples in extramarital affairs etc....interesting thing about it is that...check in to these hotels are done through a system, you do not need to come face to face to anyone...very high tech...
I read up and found that some love hotels are themed and may come properly equipped...in other words, not all love hotels will be themed, and that the main purpose of love hotels is to provide couples with a room to spend some undisturbed time together...
